Planter of table in earthenware with polychrome decorations, realized by the manufacture quimpéroise HB, whose signature is affixed twice, on and under this ceramics.
This model of oval form presents shimmering colors, dark blue motives on sky blue bottom, contrasted by a festooning of orange yellow color.
The panelled parts present two different pictures. On the first one, two characters, dressed in traditional Breton clothes, are sitting on the moor: a woman, holding a basket, listens attentively to her companion, playing the bignou. A garland of flowers and foliage decorates the other side.
An essential object of Breton heritage, offering to your eyes a scene of this rich culture, this Jardinière will brighten up with its vivid colors any piece of furniture on which you will see fit to display it. It can - or not - be accompanied by a pair of matching vases (ref 070921 Bis).
