A rare carved walnut planter in the Louis XVI style, featuring a removable lid revealing a zinc tray. This refined piece of furniture features rounded corners and a protruding front section. The waistband is carved with friezes, with a central frame featuring a torch and quiver wrapped in a Louis XVI bow. The fluted legs are decorated with foliage and macaroons. They are linked by an arched strut, carved with garlands of flowers and topped by a large Greek-style urn surmounted by a torch.
