Our Monstrance is made of richly carved wood. Its central medallion houses an ex-ossibus relic of Saint Alexandre, Martyr. The relic is surrounded by a montage of golden threads in the shape of a Glory.
The structure of this monstrance is symmetrically decorated with six putti in a rocaille and vegetal setting.
Our Saint is not alone: he is accompanied in four small medallions, decorated with an elegant montage of trimmings, glassware and pearls, by the relics of :
Saint Andrew, Apostle
Saint Marguerite V .M
Vestments of Saint Hedwige
Saint Constantiae V.M.

A remarkable early 18th-century Italian work.
