Magnificent stoup in silver-plated metal. It features numerous details, with the Virgin Mary and Jesus in the center. The tetramorph stands beside them. The scene is set in antique-style architecture. At the top are three angels holding a phylactery inscribed "Gloria in excelcis deo".
On the left is St. Philomena.
In the upper part, below a canopy, are coats of arms.
Beautiful ornamentation.
A small clip is missing from the stoup, but it is still attached.
Very fine late 19th century work.
