Low sideboard with two doors, carved wood, Louis XV style, 18th century
Elegant low sideboard opening with two molded and carved doors,
topped by two drawers on the front. It features rich carved decoration with rocaille motifs,
foliage, and scrollwork, accentuated by fine moldings and beaded frames.
The drawers are adorned with patinated metal handles and keyholes.
The front is punctuated by a central stanchion carved with a floral rosette motif.
The scalloped lower rail, adorned with carved relief decoration and a central medallion,
rests on curved legs with volute finials.
The top features a simple, understated design that contrasts harmoniously with the richness of the front’s decoration.
The antique patina and the warm tones of the wood highlight the carving work.
The interiors are meticulously finished and varnished.
