A large Alsatian sideboard made of stained solid wood, dating from the 17th century, circa 1650.
A very beautiful piece of regional furniture featuring a powerful and balanced design, characteristic of antique Rhenish furniture.
The front is punctuated by superb twisted columns framing two molded doors.
The upper section features four drawers arranged in a horizontal row, while the lower section offers ample storage space with interior shelves.
The carved decoration is rich yet understated: deep moldings, rosettes, friezes, and plant motifs attest to high-quality craftsmanship.
The antique bronze or brass hardware harmoniously complements the piece.
It features a beautiful, warm patina and a sturdy structure typical of 17th-century Alsatian furniture.
Dimensions:

Height: 131 cm
Width: 160 cm
Depth: 50 cm

Condition:
In good overall condition for a piece of furniture from this period.
Shows signs of wear, signs of age, and typical restoration consistent with its age. The interior is clean and functional.

A striking decorative piece, ideal for a classic interior, country chic setting, or historic home.
