This oak enfilade opens on the front with three doors and three drawers, all dressed in beautiful, finely-cut hardware. The long, turned steel drawer handles, known as "hands tombantes", are typical of Lorraine production. The molded doors feature a symmetrical scalloped cutout at the top, while the right and left doors have identical asymmetrical moldings. The bottom rail is scalloped and molded. The cabinet rests on front legs ending in a scroll. In overall good condition, the sideboard has preserved a beautiful patina. The inside of the drawers has probably been professionally refinished. The top is stained here and there, as is often the case, and the legs are a little worn and pitted, but well worth preserving.
