Sideboard from the Nord-Loire region in light-colored solid chestnut.
Composed of a large drawer in the waist opening by a handle with iron fastener in its center, this piece of furniture of character is equipped with two doors with asymmetrical high movement joining in the center one on the other without pilaster. These doors feature a framed interior with slight molding and small, discreet iron hinges on either side. In the center, two elegantly chased iron entrances are fitted with a working lock and key. This ironwork is completely authentic to the period. Inside this sober furniture, we discover a large shelf on racks.
At the bottom, a simple crosspiece with a discreet chamfer on the edge profiles with the cut-out feet.
This charming chestnut sideboard of exceptional dimensions is topped with a top composed of two veined boards, giving this piece of furniture character and authenticity.
