CLAUDE PARENT (1923-2016) - A SIGNIFICANT CREATION BY THE ARCHITECT FOR A CONTEMPORARY TOWNHOUSE IN NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE, FRANCE
This unique coffee table was specially designed and manufactured in 1992-1993 for Mr. and Mrs. X's private mansion. Featuring a rectangular design with an asymmetrical base, it presents an exceptional structure. Each leg is veneered in Macassar ebony, and rests on runners with chrome-plated metal inserts.
The top is surrounded by a black lacquered belt, while the herringbone top combines cognac leather and Macassar ebony veneer. The central part is embellished with chrome-plated metal elements, providing a refined contrast. The table is completed by a glass top with a distinctive central cut-out (not visible in the photos due to reflections).
Made by Ateliers Saint-Jacques.
