Its smoked glass top rests on a chromed metal tubular base with two surrealist motifs.

Vincent Darré, born January 13, 1959 in Paris[1], is a French interior designer and architect. For several years, he was Karl Lagerfeld's assistant and right-hand man. He switched from fashion to interior design in the 2000s.
A regular contributor to L'Officiel since 2013 as "curator" for several issues a year[8], he integrates his designs and invites his friends Bernard Chapuis, Philippe Azoury and Paquita Paquin to participate in the magazine.

He is staging 200 pieces, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s, from the Mobilier national at the Galerie des Gobelins in late 2022, and is having customized sets made for the event.

Described as a "dandy noceur" by L'Express or the "symbol of a crazy, artisanal art de vivre" by Paris Match, "eccentric" and baroque, he remains above all an expert in the decorative arts, never hesitating to challenge the precepts of his field with "his chic, offbeat style" inspired by the Surrealists or Dadaism.
