Versailles parquet (or "à la Versailles") is a type of parquet made of pre-assembled square wooden panels, featuring a pattern of interlaced diagonals. Versailles parquet takes its name from the motifs that make it up, inspired by the parquet flooring at the Château de Versailles in France.
