The Jacob family is among the most prestigious names in French furniture.
Its round, rimmed top rests on a spectacular central pedestal.
The richly gadrooned stem terminates in four-legged legs with lion's paw feet,
whose sculptural treatment gives the table a presence that is both monumental and elegant.
First half of the 19th century.
Used condition, good overall condition, scratches on the varnish of the top, casters missing, extension leaves missing.
