    Maison Lecan presents this extra-large farmhouse table in solid oak, a product of French rural production from the 1950s. The tabletop is made of wide oak planks whose visible grain and knots attest to the wood's distinctive character. The piece has been restored in the workshop and finished with a satin varnish applied to the entire structure, tabletop, and legs, unifying the color while allowing the natural variations of the oak to show through.
    The structure rests on four tapered, spindle-shaped legs, characteristic of traditional French woodworking during the post-war reconstruction period. The perimeter band ensures the rigidity of the table without a bottom rail, providing a generous clearance of 63 cm under the table. The clean lines and generous size make it equally suited to a large dining room or a creative workspace. At 288.5 cm long and 104 cm wide, the table comfortably seats ten to twelve people. Given the thickness of the boards and the cross-section of the legs, the weight likely exceeds 100 kg.
