Important Louis XVI chest of drawers with half-moon shaped doors, in flamed Cuban mahogany and gray marble top, opening with four drawers on the front, two elegantly curved side doors revealing a system drawer on each side, ornamentation, handles and entrances lock in gilded bronze, from the 18th century.
This chest of drawers is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. It is very decorative due to its large size and very elegant shape. The secret drawers open using a button located below, accessible with the door open (see last photo).
This chest of drawers comes from the Pâclais manor (Saint-Herblain), property of President Vincent Auriol.
Note: some traces of restorations on the mahogany, cracks and repairs on the marble (see red arrow), some scratches and wear from time, look carefully at the photos.
