Its curved front opens to five drawers in four rows adorned with wide ebony fillets.
Gilded bronze ornamentation on the drawers and front legs. The two small top drawers feature lion head keyholes. The central keyholes depict Louis XIV as a child.
Brass fluting adorns the front and back uprights.
The quatrefoil sides present unique reflections as they play with the light.
The chest of drawers is topped with a top framed by a brass ingot mold. It is adorned with an interlacing decoration of several wood species framing a finely chiseled brass cartouche inlaid in the top.
