Small chest of drawers in the Transitional Louis XV / Louis XVI style, mainly composed of Violet wood veneered in friezes.
Its top is a Belgian Marble slightly Pink, shaded with White and Gray. Its perimeter is molded and its front angles are in line with the cut sides of this piece of furniture. We note that the latter are decorated with inlays of Amaranth simulating flutes, highlighted by lemon.
This chest of drawers opens with three drawers of an identical depth of 14 cm, assembled in Queues d'Arondes. Their fronts are embellished with Violet Wood inlays and by nets of Amaranth and Lemon tree forming frames. The same composition was used for the sides of this chest of drawers. Each of these drawers is equipped with an entrance and a lock in working order accompanied by its key. They are also equipped with two round bronze handles with beaded rings.
The set rests on two slightly curved front legs and two straight back legs.
The inside of the drawers and the back of the cabinet are in Oak.
The modest dimensions of this Charming Functional Chest of Drawers will be remembered, which offers an interesting and optimized storage capacity.
