Delightful little estate chest of drawers, made of cherry wood and topped with Belgian gray marble, dating from the early 19th century Directoire period. Its refined design and finishes make this an original and functional piece of furniture. Three spacious drawers (the highest is narrower) are adorned with gilded brass drop pull handles and working locks with heart escutcheons. On either side, the sober uprights are fitted with brass capital trim that emphasizes the upper corners of the cabinet.
