Library pedestal or living room table in game table format in mahogany veneer and ebony inlays. Octagonal in shape, the top is covered in green felt. The pedestal table has a tilting top to be stored against a wall, it rests on an octagonal shaft with a tripod base. Directoire period, late 18th century or around 1800.

The format is unusual, the furniture is light and elegant

Good general “house” condition,  The old varnish has been cleaned and revived. some traces of old restorations, the top is slightly warped.
It's a good piece of castle furniture, a practical format that doesn't hurt to complete a late 18th, early 19th century decor.
