Solid mahogany bookcase/two parts, made in London, in the Georgian style.
Topped by a very discreet cornice, this set presents in the upper part two large glass doors, darkened with fine and molded rods, forming lozenges. These are equipped with an original functional lock, inlaid brass escutcheons and a key. The interior offers, on each side, four shelves with mahogany edges, adjustable every four centimeters, thanks to notches on the walls.
The lower part is composed of two massive doors, also equipped with a lock, entries and a key. Their fronts are decorated with small identical rods in recall. Opened, there are two shelves on cleats.
This bookcase rests on a molded and projecting base, ending with cut-out feet.
In addition to the quality of its essence and its storage capacity, we will also appreciate the finesse of this London work.
