Galerie Georgette Art Nouveau presents an exceptional Art Nouveau Bibliothèque / Vitrine, Ecole de Nancy. This Bookcase / Display case features a caduceus sculpture in the central lower part and the pediment is decorated with thistles carved in high relief. The frame of the cabinet and the edges of the panels, doors and sides are highlighted by whiplash moldings. This is probably a former pharmacy cabinet from the 1900-1920 period. This bookcase / display cabinet is in walnut and mahogany veneer. It is in perfect condition and functional, with all its wooden shelves. This is an exceptional piece of furniture for the quality of its cabinetwork and its originality.
