Charming 1920's Small Display Case, entirely made of Rosewood veneer, except on its back.
Its top with nice woody tints, is surrounded by two nets of Lemon tree, contrasting with its natural color. Its perimeter has a Fine Throat molding. At the back, this tray is equipped with a Backsplash, itself embellished with a Marquetry Frieze representing an Epochal Cassolette and Vegetal Scrolls.
This Furniture of Arrangement is composed of a Door opening by the right. In the upper part, its Panel in Palisander veneer sees its Corners decorated with Spandrels, all connected by a net of Lemon tree thus forming a Square. In its center is arranged a beveled mirror forming a diamond. The lower part is Glazed, and reveals an interior furnished with four fixed Shelves in solid Mahogany, of an identical depth of 27.5 cm.
This Good is provided with its Entry of lock, its Key as well as its Lock in Brass. All is Original and in Excellent working condition.
The Technique of Cabinetry described previously is taken again in the Surrounding of the door as well as on the Mounts of the Piece of furniture, in order to intensify its Nuances.
The whole rests on a plinth in Projection, with a slightly cut out front.
This Showcase stands out by its Elegant appearance, and one will appreciate the meticulous work of which it benefited.
