    Rare and precious Napoleon III period Chinese lacquer work table. In black and gold lacquered wood, animated on all sides with palace scenes,
    pagodas, Chinese figures... The table rests on a baluster base, also richly decorated throughout and finished with dragon claws.
    The interior is entirely lacquered and features numerous compartments, four of which are covered. A number of delicately sculpted sewing items are present. The silk weave under the base accommodates the creations via a sliding trapdoor. Good home condition, with minor accidents, wear and tear. Mid-nineteenth century.
