Antique Neapolitan Smith mahogany vanity with maple inlays, dating from the early 19th century.

The front features a large rectangular mirror surmounted by a chair rail and supported by two twisted arms.

The lower part is adorned with a wide base richly inlaid with mythological motifs and topped by a statuary white marble top.

The lower part features a large drawer that can be pulled out using the original bronze key.

Provenance: Naples (1810/1820)

Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using the traditional shellac and alcohol method.

Dimensions : 105 x 53 x 173 cm.
