    Magnificent Empire style desk in solid mahogany and veneer, richly decorated with finely chiseled gilt bronzes. The double-coffered base is decorated with female figures, fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, and superb bronze appliques. The front features three drawers decorated with gilt bronze motifs. The rectangular top with rounded corners reinforces the elegance and majesty of the whole.
