    Large Parisian Flat Desk with Pull-Out Drawers, Louis XVI Style, Mahogany and Gilt Bronze, 19th Century
    An elegant Louis XVI style mahogany flat desk with three drawers in the frieze.

    The top is covered in black leather tooled in gilt, framed by a gallery and gilt brass moldings. A sought-after feature is the two wide pull-out side drawers covered in the same leather as the main surface, allowing for a considerable increase in work or display area.

    The simple yet refined frieze is highlighted with brass stringing and rests on four tapered, square-section legs ending in bronze sabots.

    The corner posts feature brass mounts in the style of Parisian pieces inspired by late 18th-century Neoclassical furniture.

    With its generous proportions and timeless elegance, this table can be used as an executive desk, library table, or large center table. Dimensions:
