A charming Louis XVI dressing table in rosewood marquetry, featuring a central drop-front with butterfly-wing veneer framed by stained wood stringing. When opened, the drop-front reveals a rectangular mirror mounted on hinges that slides back and forth to adjust the viewing angle. On either side, two identical doors open to provide additional storage space and increase the table's usable surface area.
All the doors close with their original locks, which are in perfect working order and come with their engraved key. The front features applied drawers adorned with the same rosewood veneer and stained stringing, the geometric composition being repeated on each drawer for visual harmony. There are two fully functional drawers and three false drawers concealing the upper compartments.
The dressing table also includes a sliding writing surface with a knob, covered in black leather and embellished with a gilt vignette, adding an elegant and practical touch. The sides of the piece echo the marquetry motif found on the front, ensuring decorative continuity throughout.

The entire piece rests on four tapered legs ending in brass sabots. Each leg is embellished with a delicate marquetry band at the top, highlighting the craftsmanship. With its refined lines, meticulous marquetry, and numerous functionalities, this dressing table captivates with its quality of execution and period charm.
