Lovely Small Wooden Cabinet with Black Chinese Lacquer, designed in the Asian style, in the 20th century.
This one is embellished with important Oriental Polychrome Decorations, framed and underlined by Nets and Friezes predominantly Yellow.
Its top presents Magnificent paintings of Peonies and Foliage, protected by a removable glass plate.
Below, this Property opens with two doors enriched with a Traditional Japanese scene, representing Women in ceremonial costumes of yesteryear, also called "Pien-Fu". These figures are prominent and finely engraved in bone. Beautiful Landscapes painted in the background accompany them, picturing: Mountains and Rocks as well as Trees and Plants. This representation is surrounded by a Generous Frieze with Red geometric patterns. The interior consists of a bare storage space 40 cm high.
In the lower part, this Authentic Furniture has a drawer, 6 cm deep, with a front decorated with Illustrations in the same theme.
We find on the sides of Beautiful Colored Flowers reminiscent of those above.
The whole rests on a patterned base with four small cut-out feet.
The omnipresence of Decors goes so far as to embellish the back of the Furniture with a Pretty bamboo, and the interiors of the doors with Reeds.
We will appreciate the Artistic Delicacy from which this Small Original and Singular Furniture has benefited, and for which we can imagine various uses.
