Rare Napoleon III pedestal table topped with a circular Carrara marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery.
This small table is remarkable for its richly ornamented base, carved with finesse and refinement.
In the upper part, a vase in blackened wood is prolonged by three elements joining in the lower part, resting on three feet. These are dressed with bronze sculptures of lions' heads accompanied by scrolls, surrounding stylized flowers and ending with enveloping feet.
At the top, three brass consoles composed of scrolls and flowers, a garland of pearls and plant ornaments illuminate the sculpture in blackened wood.
