    This solid walnut oratory, dating from the mid-19th century, is an exceptional piece. Its beautifully detailed carvings and twisted columns, in the Neo-Gothic Renaissance style, testify to the craftsmanship of the period. The piece features 4 lockable drawers, decorated on the front with masks and foliage. Two molded doors, richly carved with plant motifs, open to reveal 10 interior drawers with the same front decorations as the exterior drawers. The desk top is surrounded by a frame carved with ovals. The sides of the cabinet are also richly carved, with large monogrammed medallions. The oratory rests on wide galette feet. This collector's item will bring a refined, historic ambiance to any interior.
