An elegant Restoration-style table, crafted in the 19th century from walnut and cherry wood. Its beveled top features an ingenious tilting mechanism. It is decorated with exquisite marquetry: at the center, an antique chariot drawn by horses is surrounded by delicately crafted geometric friezes. This design, inspired by the Neoclassical imagination, celebrates the splendor of Antiquity while reflecting the refined taste of the period.
The turned, baluster-shaped stem rests on a four-legged base with gracefully curved legs, ensuring perfect stability and a harmonious silhouette. The warm patina, the subtle contrast between the woods, and the quality of the craftsmanship make this pedestal table a decorative and historical piece, ideal for enriching a classic interior or a collection dedicated to 19th-century decorative arts.
