This walnut and rosewood workbench, inlaid with light wood, in the Napoleon III style, has a top with cut sides surrounded by an ingot mold. The latter is inlaid with a light wood marquetry forming a bouquet of flowers in a basket, framed with rosewood then walnut. When opened, we discover a large locker flanked by two smaller ones, and a mirror on the flap. On the front, a chiseled entrance, a key and a lock in working order allow the workbench to be closed. This small piece of furniture rests on four curved legs decorated with trim. They are joined by a spacer tray inlaid and surrounded by an ingot mold.
