Maison Lecan presents this 1950s farmhouse work table made of solid pine. It features a compact size—160 × 80 cm—two large drawers, and four turned legs.
Its standout feature is its height. At 82 cm, it’s about 10 centimeters taller than a standard dining table. You can work at it standing up without having to bend over, making it an excellent display table for a shop, a workshop work surface, or an auxiliary island in a kitchen.
The tabletop, made of wide pine planks, rests on a frame that houses the two drawers—one on the long side and the other at the end of the table. The turned legs lend the table a light, airy silhouette.
The table was fully restored in our workshop: treated, sanded, and then finished with a matte varnish. The pine has retained its warm hue and a few signs of wear that tell the story of its past lives. It is perfectly sturdy and stable.
With 61 cm of clearance under the apron, this is a table best used while standing rather than as a dining table.
Dimensions: Length 160 cm, Depth 80 cm, Height 82 cm / Clearance under apron: 61 cm
