    Pierre BOBOT (1902-1974)
    Lacquer screen
Exceptional Art Deco style screen, lacquered on both sides with 4 panels by Pierre Bobot.
One side in colored lacquer on a background of golden leaves decorated with magnolia flowers and insects.
    Signed and monogrammed lower right.
On the back, "torn" lacquer technique, engraved decoration of phoenixes, birds and butterflies.
    Each panel 50x175cm
    Overall: 200x175cm
This screen is unrestored and has a number of small scratches/losses (see photos) mainly on the back side. A small restoration would restore it to its full brilliance.
