An important Louis XIII period wardrobe in solid walnut, opening with two richly molded doors adorned with diamond-point panels and geometric rosettes.
This piece of furniture displays a powerful and balanced architecture, characteristic of late 17th-century French furniture.
The doors are embellished with carved panels in relief, alternating lozenge motifs and radiating rosettes, framed by wide, deep moldings.
The uprights are highlighted by long keyhole escutcheons and wrought-iron hinges, adding an elegant touch of authenticity.
The projecting cornice and the molded base resting on ball feet reinforce the monumental aspect of this beautiful regional wardrobe.
