Original drawing signed and dated 2023 (Artist: Isabelle Duval 1957-..) in gray pencils, freely inspired by the work of Jean Simeon Chardin (1699-1779) - considered one of the greatest painters of the 18th century - "L 'child with a toton' Louvre museum inv n° RF 1705.
This portrait represents Auguste Gabriel Godefroy, youngest son of the jeweler. 1725/1738 applied to seeing a toton (a kind of top) spin.
He is an artist that I like for the delicacy, elegance and modesty of these subjects; great painter..... Dimensions of the drawing 42 width x 31 height. Framed by me with passepartout, glass and wooden frame. Total dimensions 52 x 43. Careful shipping by Colissimo with tracking and insurance.
