These large color engravings of Roman monuments were created by Benedict Piringer, a draughtsman and etcher who was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1780 and died in Paris in 1826, they are both captioned, "Vue du Temple de la Concorde à Rome" and "Vue des Temples d' Antonin, de Faustine et de Jupiter Stator à Rome", "A Paris Chez Bancé L'ainé rue Saint Denis n°214". The designer is a certain Junto Tardé, about whom we have found no information.
