Original lithographic poster for the 47th Foire de Paris 1951, depicting Mercury firmly at the helm of his destiny.
A true testament to the advertising graphics of the 1950s.
The poster is canvas-backed and in good overall condition. The colors remain vivid and fresh, offering a very nice visual impact.
Slight old tears have been carefully restored in the upper and lower parts of the work, without detracting from its overall aesthetic.
At the bottom is the inscription "Imp. Spéciale de la Foire de Paris" and the signature "Bourgis".
Sold unframed.
Dimensions: 113.5 × 74 cm

Ref: RNDP0VX1IR
