Boris Riabouchinsky (Moscow 1898- Saint-Vincent de Lorouër 1975) is one of the greatest animal painters of the 20th century. Of Russian origin, he emigrated after the Bolshevik revolution, he traveled a lot and settled in France in 1927. His works bear witness to an extraordinary realism of animal life.
