Large 19th century polychrome earthenware planter, with floral decoration composed of rose and lilac slip on one side. Two handles in arabesques and foliage on the portour and the feet. The whole is imposing and the colors deep (celadon blue, marble green).
N.B one of the feet has been glued (but well solidified) some scratches from use are to be noted on the rose which do not spoil the readability. According to my research this piece is well in the spirit of the production of slips of Montigny sur Loing (1872) produced in Seine et Marne.France.
