    A "spearhead"-shaped condiment dish in Delftware with a blue monochrome decoration of a gallant scene depicting a "lady with a fontange" seated on a bench, accompanied by a standing man holding a hat in front of a landscape with a leaning tree and a village in the distance. The border is in the form of a braid decorated with stylized flowers and branches. The decoration of this piece is attributable to the "De Roos" (The Rose) Manufactory. Provenance: French private collection Mérino-Masaki.
