Pair of dishes diameter 32 cm earthenware circa 1920 manufacture Émile Balon Blois exceptional decor by Églantine Lemaitre (1852-1926) née Robert -Houdin
these two large dishes bear the Primavera logo on the back, marking the participation of this Blois factory in the presentation of the works of Emile Balon outside Blois in order to make itself known with Églantine Lemaitre, animal sculptor who creates the animal decorations and the pieces animal shapes at Émile Balon, great artist exhibited in Paris at Artiste Français. Member in 1885. Honorable mention in 1886 and 1889.
