    Earthenware with stamped decoration, slips.
    This rare pair of dishes represents on the one hand a pack of dogs attacking a wolf in the spirit of the painter Desportes (numbered in hollow 592), and on the other hand three partridges near a pond and seeking to eat (numbered in hollow 571).
    The dish is surrounded by branches and oak leaves binding into a socket at each end. The scenes stand out against a blue background close to the blue of the oven of Sèvres.
    This work in the spirit of Palissy is unusual for Sarreguemines.
