    Mounted in vermeil, this bracelet features seven oval medallions, representing Roman monuments in micro-mosaic on onyx, including the Colosseum, an unidentified temple, an unidentified arch on two occasions, the Castel Sant'Angelo (Hadrian's tomb) on two occasions and the Temple of Vesta. Of Roman origin, these jewels were brought back during the "Grand Tour", a voyage of initiation undertaken by young people (artists or art lovers) from the European bourgeoisie. The main production period for these objects was from the end of the 18th century to the end of the 19th century.
    Some medallions are cracked and damaged.
