A pair of timeless vintage 18-karat gold earrings in a geometric design, adorned with aligned quartz stones set in a bezel of 18-karat white gold. To guarantee their 18-karat/750 gold content, both earrings bear the French eagle's head hallmark and the maker's mark. Each earring opens and closes with a small lever on the back, which secures the earring and prevents it from falling out. The hinges function perfectly, opening and closing smoothly.
In exquisite condition, both antique and new, these earrings are from a former jewelry store that has since closed.
The eagle's head hallmark, a French hallmark, has been used since 1838 and remains one of the most well-known hallmarks. It guarantees, among other things, the 18-karat or 750‰ gold content.
