Louis Wièse (1852–1923) was a jeweler who succeeded his father, Jules Wièse, a renowned figure in neo-Renaissance and neo-Gothic jewelry. Trained in the family workshop, he took over the business in 1880 and developed a style rich in Gothic, Renaissance, and medieval references. His work, displaying great technical mastery, combines finely chiseled gold, colored enamels, and gemstones, and is now featured in the collections of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
