    Finely chased ormolu clock depicting King Louis XIV of France as the Allegory of the Warlord, dressed in a Roman-style cuirass, holding his baton and sword. On the dial, a feathered helmet and laurel wreath. Rectangular base decorated with royal numerals, helmets, military palms and the Order of the Holy Spirit. First Empire period, early 19th century.
    This clock is in good condition and of exceptional quality. The wire movement works, and we have the key and balance wheel. The dial is enameled with Roman numerals.
    Please note: some light soiling and ageing of the gilding, tiny microchip on the edge of a winding hole on the dial, (almost invisible), please look at the photos.
