    Finely chased gilt bronze clock depicting a woman draped in antique style, perhaps a vestal virgin, standing by a fire and holding a butterfly in her hand, a guitar on a cushion on the other side of the dial, a floral wreath underneath, base decorated with a cherub holding two garlands of flowers, 1st Empire period, early 19th century.
    This clock is in good condition. The movement needs to be overhauled. The dial is signed "Leroy Palais Royal n°114 à Paris". We have the pendulum but not the key.
    Please note: the minute hand is coming off, the woman is moving a little, the butterfly is coming off the hand, gilding wear, wear and scratches from the passage of time, take a good look at the photos.
