Wide band ring in silverplatinum (platinum-coated silver) centered on a beautiful oval opal weighing approx. 2.50 cts. The upper edge of the band and the return under the finger are entirely paved with diamonds.

Very good overall condition.silver platinum is a traditional technique combining silver-based with platinum plating. Lorenz Baümer makes a personal and masterful use of it, combining technical properties and aesthetic effects: the strength and cool whiteness of platinum meets the malleability of silver, for a luminous, long-lasting finish. This treatment protects the silver from oxidation, maintaining the jewel's brilliance over time, while the opal presents a beautiful play of light in shades of blue and green. There is a discreet, very limited amount of rough, which is harmless to the stone. The well-calibrated diamonds are of excellent quality, enhancing the brilliance and contrast with the grayish hue of the metal.
