Pair of patinated bronze candleholders depicting strange stylized imps or fauns holding a wide drape forming the arms of light.
The figures rest on bases decorated with fantastical creatures in a setting inspired by the Symbolist and mythological worlds.
Decorative work from the Art Deco period, circa 1925-1935, featuring elegant lines and graphics typical of the inter-war decorative arts.
Beautiful antique patina and fine cast-iron quality.
These candlesticks offer an original decorative presence, both mysterious and refined.
