Very rare Pair of candlesticks in cookie and bronze with two arms of light representing children with hunting horns of the Imperial manufacture of Sevres of the 18th century.
The representation of the cherubs is very clearly inspired by the drawings of François Boucher.
A series of this set was ordered by the Empress Eugenie for the Emperor's table.

The candlesticks are well referenced since 1738 with the number 239 of the catalog of the objects of Sèvres.
